Portfolio Activity English 11 - HW #1 (10/22/09)

We created a portfolio for the first marking period in English 11 class. (1) What is your opinion about creating a portfolio? (2) What activity would you add for next marking period? (3) Why do you think portfolios are becoming more and more popular in schools?

(1)I feel that if done correctly a portfolio is an interesting and fun experience, but if done incorrectly it is boring, annoying, and pointless since it's wrong.

(2)I would add "building a working model of something from the story".

(3)They are becoming more popular because they are A)necessary for getting good jobs, and B)more fun lately.
